How do I put my .EUS domain name on my Jimdo website?

When you build a website using Jimdo, you will automatically be assigned an address that will look like You will automatically be assigned that something sub-domain but it will not have any link with your website title, because these will be randomly selected letters making it difficult for you and your customers to remember the website address. If you want a more attractive and more easily remembered website address, Jimdo provides the option of adding your domain name so your website address will look like

To be able to add your domain name to Jimdo, you will need to have taken out a payment plan. If you just want to add your domain name, paying for the JimdoPro plan will be enough.

When you take out the payment plan you will be offered the chance to add a domain name; select the adding of a domain name that has already been registered. If you have previously taken out the payment plan, you will be able to add the domain name in the Domains sub-section in the Settings section on the management console.

That way, the domain name will be linked to the Jimdo website and all that remains is to redirect the domain name to Jimdo. To do this, the nameservers of the domain name have to be changed to the following:

AYou can make this change in the DNS section on the registrar’s management console, or, if you prefer, write to your registrar informing them that you want these two to be the nameservers of your domain name.

A couple of hours (in some cases it takes longer) after you have made the change, you will see the website set up in Jimdo when you visit your domain name there.

Finally, in the sub-section Domains in the settings section make sure that your .EUS domain name has been established as the main domain name. For this Primary domain has to figure beside the .EUS domain name.
