If you cannot request the transfer of a domain name:
- Make sure at least 60 days have elapsed since the domain name was registered or transferred or the owner’s data were modified.
- Make sure your current registrar has not locked the domain name transfer option using the clientTransferProhibited status. If that is the case, contact the registrar to get the transfer unlocked, or unlock it by using the management console.
If you have requested a transfer and if it is cancelled before completion, make sure the administrative contact of the domain name has received the confirmation e-mail and that they have followed the steps indicated to confirm the transfer.
