When we detect a website that has been compromised, we contact you to help you solve it. In case of bad faith, if necessary, we block the domain to prevent attacks.

ABUSE MONITORING

Using cybersecurity tools, we analyse the .EUS domain base on a daily basis to identify and solve possible cases of cyber-attacks or malicious activities on the websites (phishing, malware, spam, etc.).

DOMAIN TRUST

Intelligent platform that provides large and high quality datasets of potential malicious and criminal domains that are being used in phishing attempts, malware distribution and command and control activities.

DNSSEC

Adds an additional layer of security to a domain name's DNS servers. This allows .EUS domains to prevent a large number of harmful activities.

SSL

All .EUS domains have a free SSL certificate from Izenpe. The only public certification authority with worldwide recognition that is part of the ca/browser.

We use three main tools to monitor DNS abuse on a daily basis, help our community resolve cybersecurity issues and generate ICANN Registry Agreement Specification 11.3B compliance reporting: IQ ABUSE MANAGER, BITSIGHT SECURITY RATINGS and DOMAIN TRUST

STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

We have agreements with the official cybersecurity institutions of the Basque Government: BCSC and IZENPE. BCSC, the Basque Cybersecurity Centre, and PUNTUEUS have an agreement to work together to develop strategies to protect .EUS domain names. EUS domains can request a SSL certificate free of charge from Izenpe, the official digital certificate of the Basque Government and the only public certification authority belonging to CA/Browser worldwide.
