How can I install the Elia plugin?

1. Install and activate the plugin

  • Go to your WordPress admin panel under Plugins > Add New Plugin.
  • Type “Elia for WPML” in the search bar. Install and activate the found plugin.

Note: To use this plugin, you must have the WPML plugin previously activated in WordPress..

2. Configure Elia

  • Once the plugin is activated, a new section called “Elia for WPML” will appear in the left menu.
  • Click to access and the registration page will open.

3. Register

  • Fill in the following information:
    • Your email address
    • Nombre y apellidos
    • Your website URL

If your site uses a .EUS domain, ELIA’s license will be free (with a usage limit)

  • Once finished, accept the terms and click the “Register” button.

4.  Enter the API code

  • If the registration is successful, Elia will send you an API code by email. This message may take a few hours or arrive the next day. Don’t worry if you don’t receive it immediately.
  • Once received, go to: WPML > Translators > Translation Services
  • Elia will appear in the “Translation Services” section
  • Click “Authenticate”, enter the API code, and click “Submit”.

5. Elia Plugin Ready
