How are translations done with the Elia plugin?

1.  Install and activate the plugin

Install and activate the WPML plugin on your WordPress site.

2. Prepare the article

Create and publish a new post in WordPress as usual.

3. Go to WPML section

  • Go to WPML > Translators Management.
  • If Elia is active, the article will appear in the list.
  • Select the article you want to translate.

4. “Translation Control” section

  • Scroll down and find this section.
  • Choose “Assign translation service” and select the languages.
  • Click “Translate”.

5. Activate “Translation Status”

  • Scroll to the top of the page and activate the “Translation Status” option.

6.  Go to “Translation Jobs”

  • Enter this section.
  • Click the circular arrow icon next to your article; it will begin to spin.
  • When finished, select the middle icon: “Get Translation”.

7. Itzulpena egiaztatu

  • Go to Translation Dashboard
  • If the translation is complete, three green checkmarks will appear next to the post.

8. Final verification on the website

Access your website and make sure the post appears in the selected languages.
